Delete your Education Quest account

Option 1: in the app (quickest)

1. Open Education Quest and tap the padlock on the home screen.
2. Enter your parent PIN.
3. Go to the Family & account tab.
4. Under Your account, tap Delete account.
5. Type DELETE and tap Delete for ever.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Option 2: ask us by email

If you can't use the app (for example, you no longer have the device), email us from the address you signed up with:

To protect your account, we only act on requests from the account's own email address, and may ask you to confirm. We'll delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner) and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your parent account and email address
• All your children's profiles (names, school years and exams)
• All progress, answers, scores, mock results and writing
• Your settings, email choices and security records

It's removed from our live systems straight away and from backups within 30 days. It can't be recovered.

To delete just one child instead: Parent area › Family & account › choose the child › Remove.

What isn't deleted

• Purchase records. Apple, Google and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) keep records of payments as the law requires (usually up to 6 years for tax). They contain an anonymous account ID, not your children's details.
• Email delivery logs. Our email provider keeps a record of emails sent for up to 30 days.
• Your other devices. Deleting in the app also clears what was saved on that phone or tablet (such as the PIN and reminders). On any other devices, delete the app to clear them too.
